This project arises from the need to explore the complexity of the human body, not only as an autonomous microcosm, but also as a living, pulsating presence within a broader and layered context.
Beyond flesh, skin, muscles, and bones, the body represents a living archive of experiences, pain, stories, and identities—a map of lived moments and emotions, a territory where individual and collective histories intertwine.
My research does not aim merely to capture the body’s aesthetics; rather, it seeks to grasp its most intimate and profound essence.
Examining the body means entering into dialogue with its memory, with its language of movements, postures, and appearance.
Soft or tense curves, the surface of the skin, the tension of a muscle, or the delicacy of a gesture are fragments of a narrative that goes beyond the image, revealing the encounter between the individual and the world that surrounds them.
